SIMPLE: TO INCREASE SALES OF LEGO PRODUCT IN TOYS R US STORES ACROSS EUROPE!
Toys R Us and LEGO approached Warner Bros to discuss the possibility of running a promotion to coincide with the release of The LEGO Movie. This was carried out across seven European countries. Consumers who spent €25 or more on LEGO product in one transaction within the promotional period were issued with a voucher with a unique code. Consumers logged onto the promotional website, selected their country of residence and entered the unique code along with their personal details to receive their free child ticket to see The LEGO Movie.
