THE BRIEF:

To reduce the number of young people contracting STDs and encourage Chlamydia testing amongst 15-24 year olds.

THE SOLUTION:

Helping tackle the rise of STDs amongst young people and promote positive sexual health is something the Cambridge Primary Care Trust take very seriously. So, to help spread the message and encourage young people to get tested, they approached us to help them in putting together a cinema ticket promotion.

It worked like this:

  • Once each participant had taken a test for Chlamydia, they were invited to claim a free cinema ticket code
  • Filmology then texted participants their unique code and the web address of the FilmTix website where they could claim their cinema ticket voucher.

Dealing with participants through SMS allowed them to remain anonymous throughout the entire procedure but also made ticket redemption simple.
